Abstract

Engines, gearboxes, transfer cases and axles are subject to mandatory run-in, performed on special stands. Node-by-node running-in of aggregates allows to determine not only assembly defects, but also identify design flaws and eliminate them in a timely manner. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the design of modern stands for running-in gearboxes and identify the main directions of their improvement. (Materials and methods) The article presents a review of running-in stands for gearboxes of cars and tractors developed by domestic and foreign enterprises over the past 10 years. (Results and discussion) The article presents the design of stands of Russian and foreign manufacturers. Authors have identified their shortcomings and advantages. It has been noted that when running gearboxes on the stand the following parameters are controled: the rotation speed of the drive and driven shafts, the torque on the drive shaft, power consumption, oil temperature in the gearbox and the tank stand, volumetric flow of oil pump, oil pressure in the main and lubricating circuits. It has been found that the direction of development of stands for running-in is constantly developing, the design of stands is being improved. (Conclusions) Analysis of modern stands for running-in gearboxes has shown that domestic manufacturers of stands are not only not inferior to foreign ones, but even surpass them in terms of automation, the number of controlled parameters, ergonomics and design. The desire of Russian enterprises to equip their production halls with modern rolling stands should contribute to improving the reliability and quality of manufactured agricultural machinery, which in turn should lead to an increase in its competitiveness in the Russian and world markets.
