Abstract
The majority of services are currently made possible by IT. Technology development has had both positive and negative effects on society's way of life. The majority of human life today is impacted by new technology. Cloud computing, mobile computing, social media, ubiquitous computing, data analytics, data science, and the Internet of Things (IoT), a network of a large number of computing devices embedded with microchips, sensors, and actuators, have emerged as a result of this development. The various technological trends in information technology, their evolution, the percentage impact of technologies on business and government, and, finally, the creation of a framework for the way forward for IT professionals are the topics covered in this paper.
