Abstract
The previous chapter has presented an overview of the roles and limitations of systemic delivery in anti-ageing medicine. This chapter will examine the publication trend of research in systemic drug delivery by using a bibliometric approach. The data will be collected from the Scopus database to study the research trend from 1974 to 2019, and will be analyzed using network analysis of research outputs. Journals that have published related articles will be analyzed based on a diverse range of factors (including document citations, countries, topics and keywords). According to the publication trend identified, research in systemic drug delivery is a hotspot. With the bibliometric study presented, this chapter will offer an overview of the current status and future directions of research in systemic drug delivery.
