genera. The records of ten species known only by original descriptions are considered as doubtful. Two species are new for this regional fauna. The subfamily Microdontinae is represented in the Russian Far East by 8 species from 2 genera and 1 tribe, the subfamily Pipizinae – by 38 species from 6 genera and 1 tribe; the subfamily Syrphinae – by 209 species, 33 genera and 3 tribes, and the subfamily Eristalinae – by 315 species from 58 genera and 8 tribes. New synonymy is established: Dasysyrphus bilineatus (Matsumura, 1917) = Dasysyrphus ussuriensis Enderlein, 1937, syn. n.; Platycheirus motodomariensis (Matsumura, 1919), comb. n. = Platycheirus europaeus Goeldlin, Maibach et Speight, 1990, syn. n.
