Abstract
The article analyzes the history of the development of intermodal transport, describes the main stages of the formation and development of intermodal transport: local development, containerization and logistical integration. The analysis of the structure of the concept of intermodal movement of goods with the allocation of two main schemes of intermodal transport: the «ocean» and «continental». On the example of the interaction of the port container terminal Transinvestservis LLC, located in the small Ajalyk Liman, and the trunk railway network of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, the intersection of the market segments of intermodal transportation according to their main schemes – «oceanic» and «continental» is illustrated.The analysis of the dynamics of change in the volume of container handling by the seaports of Ukraine has been carried out and the trends in the change in these volumes have been substantiated. The analysis of the basic services of freight forwarding services provided by container carriers to customers was carried out. The dynamics of changes in the Ukrainian indicator of communication with the liner shipping system (Liner Shipping Connectivity Index), calculated annually by UNCTAD and characterizing the degree of integration of national economies into the global system of intermodal container traffic, are analyzed.The experience of the joint project of PJSC «Ukrzaliznytsia» in the person of the branch of PZL «Liski», MAERSK LINE, LLC Transinvestservis, and also JSC Ukrrichflot on opening weekly container train routes between LLC Transinvestservis and container terminals in Kiev cities, Dnipro Ternopil and Kharkiv.The main conclusions on the directions of development and implementation in Ukraine of combined transport and participation in them of railway transport are formulated.

В статті виконано аналіз історії розвитку інтермодальних перевезень, виконано опис основних етапів становлення та розвитку інтермодальних перевезень: локального розвитку, контейнеризації та логістичної інтеграції. Виконано аналіз структури концепції інтермодального переміщення вантажів з виділенням двох основних схем інтермодальних перевезень: «океанської» та «континентальної». На прикладі взаємодії портового контейнерного терміналу ТОВ «Трансінвестсервіс», розташованого в малому Аджаликському лимані, та магістральної залізничної мережі ПАТ «Укрзалізниця» проілюстровано перетин ринкових сегментів інтермодальних перевезень за основними їх схемами – «океанською» та «континентальною». Виконано аналіз динаміки зміни обсягів перевалки контейнерів морськими портами України та обґрунтовано тенденції у зміні цих обсягів. Виконано аналіз базових сервісів транспортно-експедиторського обслуговування, що надаються контейнерними перевізниками клієнтам. Проаналізовано динаміку зміни українського показник зв’язку з системою лінійного судноплавства (Liner Shipping Connectivity Index), який щорічно розраховується ЮНКТАД і характеризує ступінь інтегрованості національних економік у світову систему інтермодальних контейнерних перевезень. Сформульовано основні висновки по напрямках розвитку та впровадження в Україні комбінованих перевезень та участі у них залізничного транспорту. Транспортна діяльність завжди супроводжує людство і є невід’ємною складовою його розвитку. Саме її поява сприяла розвитку взаємопов’язаних процесів, що призвели до виникнення «феномену інтермодалізму» [1]
