Abstract

The article substantiates the global importance of mathematics. The emphasis is made on the fact that mathematics is a super-science. Not only natural sciences, even philological ones often need mathematical laws. An example was given from a specific area - linguistics. The language rules were proved with the help of mathematical theories, more specifically, the compatibility of the concepts of Euler's mathematics. Hence the conclusion was drawn: the need for the development of mathematical knowledge is dictated to us by life itself. Naturally, the development of knowledge in the field of mathematics depends on the quality teaching of this subject. In the modern world, quality teaching is unthinkable without the use of ICT. Therefore, the article reflects the teaching of mathematics in colleges using ICT. Listed are the names of research studies focusing on the teaching of mathematics in colleges. The different approach of scientists on this problem was analyzed. It was noted that each study has its own distinctive features. The main attention was paid to the independence of students, and all the methods used were calculated on the independence of students, since it allows students to solve difficult tasks with complex mental operations. It was especially noted that the presentation of examples and counterexamples plays an important role in the development of logical thinking of students in colleges. They can be used in each section. Then the methodological ideas were reinforced with specific examples. A conclusion is made at the end of the article.
