Abstract
Mitochondrial transcription factor A(mtTFA) is a key regulation factor in the genetic transcription and replication of essential subunits of mitochondrial respiratory chain. It plays a very important role in maintaining the human normal function and is related with many kinds of disease. We overview the current situation and progression in the research of mtTFA in this article.
