Abstract

Within a two-band tight-binding model driven by a dc-ac electric field, we investigate the transport property of electrons with Markoffian dephasing at finite temperatures. We calculate the electric current response and the quasienergies versus the fractional electric matching ratio of the Bloch frequency and the laser frequency. In addition to the peaks near the integral matching ratios, we find current peaks appear at the simple fractional matching ratios, where the quasienergy spectra display a series of subbands. We also find that one can make the peaks near the certain integral matching ratios disappear under the condition of dynamical localization.
