Abstract
This article presents the current requirements and solution for ballistic protection of military helicopters, in order to protect the crew and the passengers. The ballistic protection is considered as the assembly of plates designed to provide protection against bullets, enemy projectiles or their sketches. Different types of shields and current ballistic protections solution installed on helicopters will be presented.
