Abstract
The paper examines current problems in the development of mass housing construction under the national project “Affordable and Comfortable Housing for Citizens of Russia” Impediments to its implementation are analyzed, the government housing policy is appraised, and the role of financial institutions in supplying homebuyers with affordable housing is discussed.
