Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the views of today's poets and writers on the problems of children's literature and the solution of these problems. The case study method was used in the study. The study group of the research consists of 70 poets and writers. According to the results obtained, all contemporary poets and writers in the study group identified the most important problems of children's literature as "Not Paying Attention to the Developmental Level of the Child", "Commercialization of Children's Literature", "Problems Originated from Children's Literature Authors" and "The Problem of Control in Children's Literature Works and Problems Originated from Publishers". they have determined. The most important solutions proposed by today's poets and writers participating in the research to the problems of children's literature are as follows: "Children's Development Levels Should Be Considered", "Children's Literature Works Should Contribute to the Development of the Child", "Children's Literature Books Should Be Inspected" and "The Language Used Should Be Considered". The problems of children's literature and the suggestions produced to these problems are also discussed according to the gender and age variable. It has been determined that the problems and solutions determined by age and gender and the problems and solutions determined by all contemporary poets and writers are similar.
