Abstract

Background Due to the entry of the majority of oil fields in Russia into the late stages of development, the problem of oilfield equipment corrosion is urgent. This is mainly due to the increase in water content of the extracted products, the corrosive aggressiveness of the extracted fluids, and the intensification of oil production. Aims and Objectives The article is devoted to the review and analysis of various methods of protection against corrosion of underground equipment of producing wells in modern conditions. Results The criteria of technological applicability and limitations of various methods of corrosion protection are given. It is shown that in modern conditions, oil-producing enterprises use not any one anti-corrosion protection technology, but a set of anti-corrosion measures in accordance with their applicability criteria and technical and economic feasibility.
