Current Japanese Research Programmes into Nitrogen Ceramics

Abstract

In this report, an outline of the present status of research and development on nitrogen ceramics in Japan will be described. Although silicon carbide ceramics are also regarded as of great importance as silicon nitride or sialons, only a brief mention of silicon carbide ceramics is contained herein.
