Abstract

An improved current feedback magnetic-multivibrator with constant frequency of oscillation is proposed. In this circuit, the frequency compensation circuit cancels the dependence of a junction voltage on the current and the temperature. When the load current was changed from 1 A through 8 A, the rate of variation in the frequency of oscillation was reduced from about 30% (without compensation) through about 2% (with compensation). The conditions for compensation were analyzed including the influences of the internal resistances, the collector dissipation and so forth. >
