Abstract

A Field oriented control(FOC) of Induction Motor(IM) which is fed by a voltage controlled(VC) — three-level voltage source inverter(VSI) is presented in this paper in order to find the out the current error boundaries in each sector. This analysis plays an important role for the implementation of Current Error Space Phasor (CESP) based hysteresis controller which incorporates the advantages of a three-level inverter into the current controlled — voltage source inverter. In this paper, FOC of IM with the help of VC — three-level VSI with both continuous space vector modulation and discontinuous space vector modulation have been simulated using SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB, and the corresponding wave forms have been brought out for analysis.
