Abstract
HE plight of the farm worker has been a matter of some concern for many years. But it is only recently, during the past few years, that there has been real public awareness of the problem and indication that ameliorative action is, and will be, forthcoming. I would like to discuss the several convergent forces which in my opinion have brought about this changed situation. I will also briefly review recently enacted farm labor legislation and some of the major bills now before the Congress.
