Abstract
Current-controlled negative resistance (CCNR) in ZrS 2 single crystals has been observed at room temperature (about 300K) and liquid N 2 temperature (about 77 K). It is shown here that CCNR occurs because of a double injection of carriers coupled with the presence of deep recombination centres in the bulk of the material.
