Abstract

The most common treatment for patients with early-stage (stage I–II) Hodgkin's lymphoma is two to four cycles of chemotherapy followed by involved-field radiation therapy.1 The long-term disease-free survival rates (ie, cure) for early-stage Hodgkin's lymphoma are 90–95%. Given the high cure rate, and bearing in mind that most patients diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma are under 40 years, quality of survivorship is an important consideration.
