Abstract

The magnetization of the itinerant electron ferromagnetic Ni 3 Al system has been measured. The experimental result of temperature dependence of the spontaneous magnetization agrees with the prediction of the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations. Considering the variations of the band structures with the Ni-concentration x by alloying, the experimental result of the x -dependence of the Curie temperature T c is also explained within the framework of the SCR theory.
