Curative effects observation of Shengjing capsule combined with proxeed-plus on oligoasthenospermia

Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effects of Shengjing capsule combined with proxeed-plus on oligoasthenospermia. Methods A total of 122 patients with oligoasthenospermia treated in Henan Provincial People’s Hospital from January 2015 to December 2017 were selected and were randomly divided into control group and research group, with 61 patients in each group. Patients in control group were given proxeed-plus, and patients in research group were given Shengjing capsule based on the treatment protocol of control group. Efficacy, adverse reactions, level (A+ B) sperm, level A sperm, sperm density, semen volume and sperm viability before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of research group was 91.8%, which was significantly higher than that of control group (75.4%); after treatment, level (A+ B) sperm, level A sperm, sperm density, semen volume and sperm viability of research group were significantly more than those of control group, and the difference was statistical significant (P<0.05). There was no severe adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusions There is a remarkable curative effect of Shengjing capsule combined with proxeed-plus on oligoasthenospermia, and it can increase sperm density and sperm viability, with high safety.
