Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect of polyferose combined with vitamin A, B2, and folic acid in the treatment of pregnant anemia and its effect on neonatal outcomes. Methods 106 pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia were collected, and were divided into experimental group and traditional group by drawing lots, 53 cases in each group. The patients in the traditional group were treated with compound ferrous sulfate and folic acid tablets, while the patients in the experimental group were treated with polyferose, vitamin A, B2, and folic acid. The levels of hemoglobin (Hb), ferritin (SF), iron (SI) before and after treatment, and neonatal outcomes, neonatal 1 min Apgar score, birth weight, clinical efficacy, adverse reactions during treatment were observed between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of Hb, SF, and SI in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the increased degree in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the traditional group (P<0.05). The incidences of cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal distress in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the traditional group (P<0.05). The scores of muscle tension, pulse, respiration, skin color, foot and nose insertion reaction, and birth weight in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the traditional group (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the traditional group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the traditional group (P<0.05). Conclusion For pregnant anemia, polyferose combined with vitamin A, B2, and folic acid is a kind of effective and safe method, which can effectively improve the pregnancy outcomes and neonatal outcomes.
