Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic value of closed negative pressure drainage technique on diabetic foot ulcer. Methods Fifty-six patients with diabetic foot ulcer treated in Yanzhou Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College from January 2016 to August 2018 were selected as research objects. And they were divided into study group and control group according to random number table method, with 28 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated by routine wound treatment in the course of basic treatment, while patients in study group were treated by closed negative pressure drainage during basic treatment. The therapeutic effects on diabetic foot ulcer of the two groups were recorded. Results The healing time and treatment cost of diabetic foot ulcer patients in study group were (46.31±5.16)d and (26 084.32±654.28)yuan, which were less than the (28.19±6.07) d and (37 804.92±702.36)yuan in control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The total clinical effective rate of study group (92.56%) was significantly higher than that of control group (71.43%), P<0.05. Conclusions Closed negative pressure drainage technique can significantly improve the therapeutic effect on diabetic foot ulcer, reduce the burden of treatment and promote the recovery of the patients as soon as possible.
