Abstract
Este artículo estudia el cambio del sistema de partidos colombiano utilizando una perspectiva de análisis electoral. Mediante un análisis de componentes principales, identifica las estructuras territoriales del comportamiento electoral del país en las elecciones del Senado en las dos pasadas décadas. Muestra que la reforma política de 2003 incentivó la reorganización del sistema de partidos reproduciendo el tradicional eje liberal/conservador, aun expresado mediante un sistema multipartidista. Las elecciones de 2014 sugieren un cambio más profundo.
