Abstract

Article is written in concern to the notion of Cultural capital. Author elaborates on its otherwise convoluted definitions that deviate from the substantial notion of a capital as a mean of value production. Author’s reasoning in the article relies on self-established definition of cultural values that places a division between basis and imaginary values and then formulates grade system for types of cultural values depending on their acknowledgment in major societal groups. Cultural values require proper audit in the same way as all other values, which is covered in the second part of the article.
