Cultural and Lingual Diversity of North East India

Abstract

Introduction- India is a nation rich in diversity, with the northeastern states being some of the most diverse regions. The diversity of ethnic groups, their customs, dialects, and religions, as well as the geographical and ecological qualities, all contribute to these states' uniqueness and make them multi-cultural regions. The research tried to draw attention to the distinctive qualities of these states. Objectives- To know and find out the cultural, lingual and other forms of diversity of the 8 states of the northeastern parts of India. Methodology- The study is conducted using secondary data which are collected from different journals, chapters of the book, and articles related to the northeastern parts of India. Conclusion- The diversity of the Northeastern region is successfully depicting the true essence of colourful India living in unity.
