Abstract

Project management culture is a key element of an IS management model. In this context, this research aims to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of IS professionals and project management culture. To achieve this goal, we carried out a literature review on project management culture and on IS professionals. This research used a survey applied to 256 professionals and through the application of statistical techniques concluded that: the culture focused on client and company's goals was the most perceived by the professionals, as opposed to the culture of innovation that was the least perceived. In addition, different types of professionals had different perceptions regarding project management culture.
