Abstract

In the present study Radish (Raphanus sativus) was cultivated in grey and normal water system for comparison study. The physical and chemical parameters of soil and two types of water system were evaluated. The soil parameters were evaluated before and after the irrigation of grey water and normal water for the study of soil nature. Radish was grown in both normal water and grey water. However, radish in grey water was well grown compared to normal water. After the harvesting Radishes (Raphanus sativus) good yield of radish was cultivated in grey water system. The root of the radish was well developed and length was higher than the normal water. In the present study in is concluded that the radish was successfully cultivated in grey water and the nature of the soil was not altered. This is due to the presence of micro and macronutrients present in the grey water.
