Abstract

The cultivation of pragmatic competence is one of the objectives of language teaching, and the implementation of pragmatic teaching is an important way to cultivate students' pragmatic competence. This paper mainly analyzes the cultivation of college students' English pragmatic competence from the perspectives of teaching methods, teaching resources, practical activities and language testing, and puts forward relevant strategies for the cultivation of pragmatic competence in order to achieve the goal of improving college students' pragmatic competence.
