Abstract

A method is described for the isolation and short-term cultivation of lymphocytes from bovine blood. Culture conditions are outlined that will optimize the production of infectious bovine leukemia virus or soluble viral antigens from lymphocyte suspension cultures and from persistently infected monolayer cell cultures.
