Abstract
Spiritual education of a child is one of the most difficult and important areas of educational research. The way of family life has always been reflected in the moral character of a person. The emotional and moral atmosphere reigning in the family, the desire to share responsibility, the level of mutual understanding and mutual respect, parental love and reciprocal feelings of a child, family traditions – all these lay the foundation for spirituality. Teachers who work with younger students often observe their interactions with their parents. Each child and each parent is individual, and relationships between them develop differently. In this article, the authors reflect on teachers’ role in cultivating love, where the theoretical concept of “from child to parent” is the basis for study. The article identifies the types of a child’s love for parents, reveals the markers of manifestation of a child’s love for parents, which is positively associated with the cultural and social environment. In addition, the basic pedagogical characteristics for cultivating a child’s love for their parents in the context of the school are proposed.
