Abstract
During a remarkable career at the Manufacture de Sèvres, Mireille Cousin has become one of the best painters of her generation. She has mastered the techniques that contribute to the excellence of the institution, has met prestigious artists whose works she has magnified and now directs within the manufacture, a school of painting on porcelain to transmit her knowhow to younger generations. Michel Roué has been able during his career to acquire knowledge of all the decoration and manufacturing techniques as well as managerial and transmission skills. He supervises about forty art technicians in a dozen workshops.
