Abstract

The evolution of the term leadership has had its reflection in the different types of school management through the ages. Today, there is a tendency to associate the group more than a specific individual, establishing a shared governance between leader and community. In order to analyze the perception of leadership in educational organizations that have the management teams of the public network in the CF of Navarre, we opted for an experimental descriptive-explanatory empirical study of mixed design. For the collection of data, an ad hoc online distribution questionnaire is developed. The perceptions of the 112 participating centers indicate as necessary characteristics: communicative style, shared responsibility based on the trust of the teaching team, accessibility and empathy, coinciding with studies on the subject.
