Cucumber growers’ knowledge of the most important scientific recommendations related to its cultivation in greenhouses in Chamchamal District/ Sulaymaniyah governorate

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the knowledge level of cucumber growers in greenhouses with the most important recommendations related to its cultivation in Chamchamal district / Sulaymaniyah governorate in general, and to determine the level of their knowledge of the most important scientific recommendations related to its cultivation in greenhouses in each field of agriculture, as well as to identify the relationship of knowledge level with some variables The independent sample included (144) respondents who were chosen randomly, representing (60%) of the total cucumber growers in the greenhouses in the district of Chamchamal, who numbered (240) respondents, and (4) respondents were excluded due to the non-completion of the questionnaire form by the respondents and thus The sample size became (140) farmers, (30) respondents were excluded from the initial test sample of the form. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data from the respondents in the personal interview method.
