Abstract
Abstract A highly efficient CuBr-catalyzed domino reaction of 2-substituted-3-(1-alkynyl)chromones to synthesize functionalized 3-acylfurans has been developed. The reaction is mild, environmentally friendly and easily handled without the necessity for dry solvents and inert atmosphere.
