Abstract

Cu2FeSnS4 (CFTS) nanocrystals with a size of 3–7nm are solvothermally synthesized by using 1-octadecanamine, thiourea and ethanol as capping agent, sulfur precursor and reaction solvent, respectively. The CFTS nanocrystals blended a conjugated polymer are used to prepare hybrid polymer-based solar cells (HPSCs). Our results reveal that the CFTS nanocrystals can act as effective electron acceptors for HPSCs, and the content-related aggregation of CFTS nanocrystals in polymer matrix imposes a remarkable effect on device performance.
