Abstract
X-ray emission spectra from superconducting M Ba Cu O (M = Y, Eu, or Er) giving information on 3d states at Cu sites are reported. The effect of electron correlation is discussed in the light of band structure calculations and experimental results given by other high-energy spectroscopic techniques.
