Objective To investigate the imaging features of intraventricular central neurocytoma. Methods From July 2012 to May 2015, 10 patients with intraventricular central neurocytoma were randomly selected, all the patients were confirmed by operation and pathological examination, patients were given CT and MRI examination, the imaging data of the patients were retrospectively analyzed. Results Eight patients lesions in the lateral ventricles and close septum, septum connected with wide base, there were different degrees of septum pressurized situation and the shift to the opposite side; Four patients receiving CT scan, the tumor showed a lobulated, nodular calcifications visible, and there was a significant increase in the presence of the ventricular system, changes in hydrocephalus. Conclusions Intraventricular central neurocytoma has certain imaging characteristics, combined with the clinical data and CT, MRI findings, patients can make a more accurate preoperative diagnosis, but for pediatric patients, should be combined with the additional tests to rule out suspected tumor types.
