Abstract

Intracranial lipomas are rare and usually asymptomatic. However, they may be symptomatic according to their localization. In this article, we aimed to report a case who presented with headache and diagnosed with intracranial lipoma which was detected at computed tomography (CT) and confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Intracranial lipomas which are difficult treat by surgery should be diagnosed easily with CT densitometry and MRI without invasive procedure. Also, CT and MRI may be helpful in determining treatment choice and following up the lesion. Keyword: Intracranial lipoma, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
