Abstract

Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells (PK/Si TSCs) have emerged as a promising technology for achieving high efficiency in photovoltaics due to their ability to efficiently absorb a broad range of solar radiation. The combination of perovskite and silicon materials in a tandem structure has the potential to lead to higher power conversion efficiency (PCE). Here, CsCl was introduced as a precursor into the PK/Si TSC, prepared by co-evaporation with PbI2, effectively inducing the formation of black phase perovskite, thereby leading to an increase in crystalline quality and improved photovoltaic performance of the tandem solar cell. Ultimately, the PCE of the PK/Si TSC reached 29.22%. This work provides a new strategy for promoting the development of PK/Si TSC in the future.
