Abstract

By means of the Bethe ansatz method, the magnetic properties of the highly correlated degenerate Anderson model at low temperatures are investigated in the presence of the crystalline field. The magnetization, the magnetoresistance and the linear coefficient of the specific heat are calculated as a function of the magnetic field in the mixed valence regime for the case of Ce in the cubic field.
