Abstract
Abstract The title compound was obtained from 3-bromo-4,6,7-trimethoxy-2-naphthoic acid and commercially available 3,5-dimethylphenol. It crystallizes from dichloromethane/petroleum ether monoclinically in the space group P21/c with a = 1509.0(3)pm, b = 1611.4(4)pm, c = 841.0(1)pm and β = 95.31(1)°.
