Abstract
Abstract The title compound was prepared by Wittig-reaction of 1-bromo-2-formylnaphthalene and (3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-methylene phosphorane. It crystallizes from dichloromethane/petroleum ether monoclinically in the space group P21/n with a = 1493.4(6), b = 842.3(2), c = 1485.0(6) pm and β = 117.95(3)°.
