Abstract
The crystal of the complex [Co(DMP)2(N3)]·ClO4 (DMP = 2,4-dichloro-6-[(2-dimethylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenol) was synthesized and its structure characterized by an X-ray single-crystal determination. The complex consists of a [Co(DMP)2(N3)]+ cation and a disordered perchlorate anion. The CoIII atom in the cationic moiety is six-coordinated in an octahedral coordination.
