Abstract
A structure determination of C26H21N2O4 has shown that the molecule consists of two spiro junctions involving oxindole, acenaphthene and pyrrolidine ring systems. The least-squares plane through the pyrrolidine ring atoms is almost perpendicular to that through the acenaphthene ring atoms. The pyrrolidine ring adopts a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, molecules are stabilized by intramolecular C-H…O interactions.
