Abstract

Abstract Three dimensional structures of two self-crystallized picrate salts with 1,2,4-triazolium (I) and 1-methylindazolium (II) were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffractometer. Although, both crystals are crystallized in monoclinic space group P21/c, however crystal dimension of salt I are a = 16.3254 (8) A, b = 11.4402 (6) A, c = 13.4443 (7) A, β = 96.961 (1)°, V = 2492.4 (2) A3and Z = 8; while salt II are a = 8.2596 (12) A, b = 5.8373 (9) A, c = 27.608 (4) A, β = 95.520 (2)°, V = 1324.9 (3) A3and Z = 4. Proton transfer are detected in both picrate salts, presented by short bond lengths and short supramolecular heterosynthon via N+–H…O− interaction [d(N···O) ∼ 2.7 A].
