Abstract
Abstract1,2,3,4‐Tetrahydro‐1‐methyl‐3‐(p‐bromophenyl)‐4,6‐diphenyl‐s‐tetrazine (3a), exhibiting “ring ⇋ chain” tautomerism in solutions, exists as the ring tautomer in the solid phase, as proved by X‐ray crystal structure determination. However, the 6‐acetyl analogue 3b acquires the chain form in the crystalline state.
