Abstract
Crystals of PrBa2Cu307-y have been grown by the travelling-solvent floating-zone (TSFZ) method and slow-cooling. The grown crystals were identified to be single crystal of PrBa2Cu307-y by Laue X-ray measurements, precession camera, X-ray powder diffractions and scanning electron microscope X-ray energy dispersion spectrum (SEM- EDS). The oxygen annealed TSFZ crystal exhibits superconductivity with Tc ~ 80K.
