Abstract
Single crystals of Pr2-xCexCuO4(x=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.14) system were grown by the travelling-solvent floating-zone(TSFZ) method. Two-times scanning gave rising of the density in feed rod and stable growing process. The single crystal rod grown has length in the range of 20 to 50 mm and about 5 mm in diameter. As-grown crystals did not exhibit superconductivity but semiconductive behaviour.
