Abstract

X-ray powder diffraction data for a new Cadmium Zinc Tellurium compound synthesized by Bridgman technique is reported. The unit cell dimensions were determined from diffractometer methods using CuK radiation, and the indexing programs. The cubic phase was the sole crystalline phase which detected by X-ray diffraction analysis in the Cd0.29Zn0.71Te sample with lattice constants of a= 6.26218(34) A, The results are in agreement with those obtained from cadmium Zinc tellurium (Cd0.4Zn0.6Te) PDF carte number (50-1438).
