Abstract

X-ray diffraction shows that a tris(4-N,N-dimethylaminophenyl)antimony crystal contains four crystallographically independent molecules. With allowance for the lone pair, antimony atoms have a distorted tetrahedral coordination. The Sb-C bond lengths are 2.133(3)–2.147(3) A; the CSbC bond angles are 94.52(11)°–97.61(11)°. There are numerous intermolecular contacts C...H (2.71(22)-2.90(2) A) and N...H (2.69(2)–2.72(2) A) in the crystal.
